Stuart earned an MS degree in Education at Portland State University
and has taken on the
challenge of untangling the fact from the fiction with respect to the
problems known to be confronting the nation's power grids in the year 2000
and beyond.
An Honors graduate from the University of Oregon, Stuart developed his research skills as a student of human performance and information processing theory, while conducting special experimentation and thesis with groundbreaking scientists in the fields of cognition and artificial intelligence.
Stuart has been a teacher, has gained national recognition by helping
to develop and implement
specialized computer applications for educators, and has worked with
the IT services for a major
telecommunications corporation. Most recently, Stuart has served as
a featured panelist for the
White House Council for Year 2000 Conversion's "Community Conversations"
initiative.
Stuart is the national founder of "Operation NERC Watch," a grassroots
effort to promote awareness of the plans for government and industry to
prepare the power grid for the year 2000 and the coming crisis facing all
that rely upon it.
Stuart's most recent reports have been heard on the nationally syndicated radio shows "Coast to Coast AM" with Art Bell, on "Common Sense," broadcast from San Diego to six western states and live worldwide on the internet, "Sightings on the Radio with Jeff Rense", and on back to back appearances on "Laura Lee Online".
Stuart is author of the book "The Last Days of Power?" and and has written
and directed a
television documentary and feature presentation aired last year by
Time Warner Public Access in Tampa Florida.
